Born in Istanbul Turkey 1981. Dj ilgin, started her career in a radio station at an early age of 15, being exposed to a wide variety of music styles ; helped her find her true musical identity: HOUSE MUSIC. At 19 years old she advanced her career from Radio to Tv,although her career was taking off sucessfully, she decided that it wasn’t what she really had passion for. As she was searching for ways to take a more serious step into house music and djing, a friends brillant suggestion came along She attended the dj school in Paris France. After succesfuly finishing the dj school Paris; not to mention that she was the only girl dj in whole school. She returned to turkey to persue her new carreer... ---- it didn’t take long for people to notice her. She had been aproached by many promoters and had been offered her very first gig to tour Turkey as the offical dj of a very famous beverage brand. Having a succesfull tour was the begining of her new career as a dj. She had played in many event’s and had residencies in clubs ever since. Dj ilgin describes her sound to be,deep,vocal,funky and chicago house. At an early age she is already considered as one of the most sucessfull female djs of Istanbul and Turkey. Dj ilgin is now playing many clubs around the world,and has a residency at istanbul's finest club 360ISTANBUL.
